We are approaching Christmas 2011 and the winter season in Second Life® has been in full swing. I am not much for celebrating the holidays but this year has been fortified with catching up with people on the Grid and participating in a few holiday themed events. I DJ'd on Saturday at "Santacon in SL" which was sponsored by the Burn2 group (who are really wonderful and fun people) and they are the same group that does the Burning Man festivals here in our virtual world. Then Saturday evening I went to the KMadd Winter Christmas Ball. The theme was White Fantasy Couture and Winter Jefferson won Best Dressed Male and yours truly won Best Dressed Female--Thanks Maddox and Kirk for another beautiful event!. The highlight of the day however was seeing everyone and having a chance to talk and just socialize. That is the true essence of the communities in our online world to me. Thank you for everything! Here is my outfit from the evening and a big shoutout to June Dion and Bare@Rose for being a long time, amazing and creative designer and whom I consider a true corner stone in the industry!
